Jo Lynn has a genuine love of people and life that can be seen throughout her fine portraiture. Brides, children, families and pets throughout Tampa and the Bay Area are uniquely and beautifully depicted. Her portraits reflect more than the wedding or the moment. Her images allow us to see the love, the hope, the curiosity; and the emotions involved.

She enrolled in a photography course at New York Institute of Photography. At night she read and studied her course work and during the day, she shot roll after roll while she cared for her first little one. Soon friends and family started to see the beautiful renditions of her daughter and began asking her to take portraits of their children.

After graduating at NYIP, she continued to study techniques and style of accomplished photographers. She moved to the Bay Area and had her second child.  She assisted other professional photographers soaking as much as she could about weddings, fine portraiture, and the medium format camera.

As a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Professional Photographers of The Bay Area (PPBA). Jo Lynn's portraits have proved to be more than just another picture. Her easy-going personality allows people to feel comfortable while she creates beautiful natural looking portraits. From the wonder in a baby's eyes to the first kiss of the bride and groom, Jo Lynn is able to capture it in way like no other.
